Kifissia Astronomy
A new initiative of the AAC in Kifissia
The Aegean Astronomy Club expands its activities to Attica with “Kifissia Astronomy”, a new initiative dedicated to promoting astronomy and science in Kifissia and the northern suburbs of Athens.
The project’s goal is to bring residents and visitors closer to the wonders of the night sky, through organized stargazing sessions, educational events, and creative science-based experiences.
Our Mission
With Kifissia Astronomy, the Aegean Astronomy Club aims to make astronomy a hands-on, inspiring experience, combining scientific understanding with the beauty of the cosmos.
Our presence in Kifissia marks another step in our mission to share the knowledge of the natural sciences and build active communities of sky enthusiasts.
Activities include:
Public stargazing events, guided by the Club’s experienced members and equipped with high-quality telescopes.
Astrophotography workshops and night-sky imaging sessions.
School presentations, designed to inspire curiosity and introduce students to the world of astronomy.
Collaborative events with local institutions, cultural spaces, and community groups.
