Activities on Spetses
Astronomy Outreach in Spetses island
In one of the most picturesque islands of Greece, Spetses, the Aegean Astronomy Club brings the beauty of the night sky closer to the community through public talks, educational events, and guided telescope observations.
Through these initiatives, we aim to make astronomy accessible, engaging, and inspiring for residents and visitors alike, strengthening the presence of science outreach on the island.

In the summer of 2024, we organized AstroSummer 2024, a series of five astronomy events held throughout the season, combining introductory talks with guided telescope observations. In 2025, we expanded our efforts with AstroFestival 2025, a larger celebration of astronomy featuring lectures, observational sessions, and interactive activities.
